I THINK what you want is:
System Preferences/Network/ ---> then select your connection type...
Built in Etherenet for PPPoE (DSL) or Internal Modem.
Hit the Configure button and fumble through it. Good luck, and if we
never hear from you again, at least we'll know what happened.
