Geuzen Beer
Oh, no ... it is amazing how much interest there is in beer. We had a
thread like this going two years or so ago, and as I recall another
Belgian was arguing pretty much the same as you.
Anyway, I can vouch for the fact that you have good beer. I can
even say I have tasted Belgian beer. Interesting variety. A friend of
mine, who later vanished in the Belgian Congo just before the
rebellion broke out in Luluabourg, took me to a place on or near the
Grand Place where he introduced me to Geuzen (SP) beer ... guess
that's a Flemish brew. There was a huge lamp on the ceiling made out
of pig bladders.
