D-Day
Today was the anniversary of D-Day.
It is pretty much ignored these days, so I just want to acknowledge
the fact that one morning sixty-five years ago, the Allied
Expeditionary Forces were landing on the beaches of Normandy. There
wasn't much data coming in, but we listened to the radio all day long.
I was 14 at the time.

Those were the code names for the landing beaches. Utah Beach, Omaha
Beach, and so on.
