Talc

I think I told the story one Friday about how my great grandfather
owned a mountain of talc on Lake Erie, and that in my own branch of
the family there was a tradition of naming a boy in each generation
Douglas David Fairchild. Well, one night, out of curiosity, I did a
search on my name and came up with another one in Vermont. So I
emailed him and exchanged a couple of emails, in one of which I asked
him if he knew much about his ancestors.

He replied that all he knew was that his great grandfather had owned a
mountain of talc on Lake Erie.
